WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO TAKE AN EXECUTIVE POSITION? I am very passionate about my involvement in Lambda Delta Phi and I wanted to have more responsibility within our chapter. I decided to be on the exec team because I wanted to see our chapter continue its success and flourish for years to come. I love being able to help make decisions to better our chapter and its members, while also keeping our traditions alive.
HOW ARE YOU INVOLVED ON CAMPUS AND IN LDPhi? On campus I am involved in the Gopher Dairy Club, Agricultural Education, Communication & Marketing Club, and the Agriculture Business Club. In Lambda Delta Phi, I am serving my second term as the treasurer and I am also the mail manager. In the past, I was an assistant house manager for two semesters and the Social Chair Assistant.
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE FUTURE FOLLOWING COLLEGE? After graduating with my bachelor’s degree, I would like to attend graduate school studying dairy cattle genetics in order to obtain my dream job as a dairy cattle geneticist. I also want to continue to serve and advocate for the dairy community wherever and whenever I can.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LDPhi MEMORY? My favorite memories of LDPhi is the whole week of initiation. The week included lots of time and memories made with all of my sisters and getting to know them on a deeper level. Initiation was full of so many fun and memorable moments that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
