TREASURER
Rayea Roberts

YEAR IN SCHOOL: Junior
MAJOR: Family Social Science, Applied Economics
HOMETOWN: Albert Lea, MN
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO TAKE AN EXECUTIVE POSITION?
I decided to run for an exec position because it was a good next step in my leadership journey. I wanted to support LDPhi in a larger way, learn something new and learn more about my chapter. I have loved being on exec, as treasurer, getting to know the ins and outs of chapter business and finances.
HOW ARE YOU INVOLVED ON CAMPUS AND IN LDPhi?
I am involved on campus as a Student Peer Advisor at Career Services, a CFANS Ambassador, and undergraduate researcher through APEC, clubs such as Bali Club, Ag Business Club, AECM Club, and the CFANS Mentor Program. In LDPhi, I am the current Treasurer, House Manager, and a Prevention Advocate.
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE FUTURE FOLLOWING COLLEGE?
After graduation, I want a career that connects agriculture, environment, and people while giving me the chance to explore different places, cultures, and communities. I am looking for a path that feels meaningful, hands-on, and based in both service and real-world experience.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LDPhi MEMORY?
One of my favorite LDPhi memories is simply coming home to a house full of girls who were always down for anything, whether it was shopping, food runs, porch dwellings, late-night chats in the TV room or kitchen. It was the little everyday moments and quality time together that made the house feel like a home.
