WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO TAKE AN EXECUTIVE POSITION? I decided to take an executive position because I wanted to make a positive impact in the community and sisterhood that helped make the campus feel like home. I was welcomed with open arms into the sisterhood of Lambda Delta Phi. As an executive officer, I wanted to foster that welcoming atmosphere that I met when I joined this sisterhood.
HOW ARE YOU INVOLVED ON CAMPUS AND IN LDPhi?On campus, I am involved in the Pre-Vet club, Ag Business club, AECM club, and Sustainable Plant Systems Club. In Lambda Delta Phi, I have been on the Scholastics and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committees. I have also served as the chapter's House Manager and Assistant New Member Educator.
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE FUTURE FOLLOWING COLLEGE?Following college, I plan to attend veterinary school and pursue a degree in Veterinary Medicine. One day I hope to open my own practice for large and small animals!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LDPhi MEMORY? My favorite LDPhi memory would have to be volunteering with my sisters at Feed My Starving children. This opportunity to give back to our community and make an impact on the world has brought me closer to my sisters.
